Mission Team Agreement Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000

By joining this mission team, I affirm that I have read and agree with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. I commit to uphold these doctrinal beliefs and to represent them faithfully during the mission trip.

2. Personal Behavior and Conduct

As a member of this mission team, I agree to conduct myself in a manner that reflects the values and teachings of the Christian faith. I will:

• Respect and honor the cultural norms and traditions of the host community.
• Maintain a positive attitude and a spirit of cooperation with team members and local partners.
• Refrain from any behavior that could be seen as inappropriate, offensive, or harmful to others.

3. Indemnification and Liability

I understand that participation in this mission trip involves inherent risks, including but not limited to travel, physical activity, and interaction with different environments. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the mission organization, its employees, agents, and volunteers from any claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, including but not limited to injury, loss, or damage to personal property arising out of or connected with my participation in the mission trip.

4. Commitment to Sharing the Gospel

I commit to actively participating in the mission of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. This includes engaging in evangelistic activities, building relationships with individuals in the host community, and supporting the overall mission objectives.

5. Flexibility and Adaptability

I understand that mission trips often involve unpredictable circumstances and changes in plans. I commit to being flexible and adaptable, maintaining a cooperative and positive attitude regardless of changes or challenges that may arise during the trip.

6. Health and Safety

I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the mission trip. I will inform the mission organization of any health conditions or concerns that may affect my participation. I agree to comply with all health and safety guidelines provided by the mission organization and local authorities.

7. Financial Responsibility

I understand that participation in this mission trip may require financial contributions or fundraising. I commit to fulfilling any financial obligations related to my participation in the trip, including but not limited to travel expenses, accommodation, and mission-related activities. 

8. Confidentiality

I agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of team members and the individuals we serve. I will not disclose any personal or sensitive information without proper consent.

9. Media and Photography

I grant permission to the mission organization to use photographs or videos taken during the mission trip for promotional and informational purposes. I understand that I will not receive compensation for the use of such media.

10. Termination of Participation

I understand that failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in my removal from the mission team. The mission organization reserves the right to terminate my participation at any time for reasons including but not limited to behavioral misconduct, health concerns, or failure to adhere to team guidelines.

By submitting this application, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
